Catsby the Cat

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to show you our kitten, Jay Catsby. Jay Catsby, or Catsby for short is a rescue kitten who was rescued by a local, privately-run animal shelter. He is very, very rambunctious and playful! He loves to play around with just about anything! So I guess he fits the stereotypical definition of a kitten! 

All of our cats have loved this spot. Its on/behind a couch that we have near a window. They can see a ton of wildlife outside.

Little B Wearing Aviator Glasses

This is Little B! 

He loves to sleep on this little rocking chair. When we put up our summer decorations, we put Snoopy and Charlie Brown on the rocking chair. One day we put these aviator glasses that came with Snoopy, on him. He looked so funny! We had to take a picture of him! When there are no teddy bears on the rocking chair he is really lonely, but when summer comes he is much more happier to sleep with his teddy bear friends!

Little B the LEGO Monster!

This is Little B.......

He is the greatest monster to the LEGO Minifigure!

He destroys every little LEGO brick in his way! This is a photo of the dreaded LEGO monster! When the news helicopter took this photo, he was in the midst of destroying the Si-fi base! What are the civilians of  the LEGO city going to do with their strongest army of defenders destroyed? We have to stop this monster before he gets in the LEGO city and destroys it forever!!

Little B Sure Loves His Stuffed Animals!

This is Little B curled up with his hedgehog that he got for Christmas. I found him like this when I went upstairs to read on my bed. 

He really loves that hedgehog. It has a squeaker in its belly. Whenever someone squeaks it he comes bounding like a buffalo and starts playing with it.

R.I.P Rocky Road

One week after George died, my brothers fish Rocky Road died.

My brother had Rocky Road for 1 year and a couple months.

Rocky Road was a Betta Fish.

 

My whole family was sad that our fish died.

We have good stories and memories!

 

Baby Bunnies

Our Baby Bunnies were born on July 11th. Fuzz delived six but one died. In the litter there is 1 black, 4 tan. They are really rascally. We had one get out of the nest so we moved them to the cage we had open. When we were playing with them the same bunny that got out of the nest got out of the play pen that we made. When they had fur we started naming them the names are from the movie The Hobbit. The black one is Thorin, the tan are Bilbo, Bombur, Balin and Dwalin. They love to eat the plant plantain.

Frodo

 This is our rabbit Frodo. He was born in June 2012. He is a Rex and Lionhead mix. He is a very friendly rabbit and he loves being petted. I would have to say that his favorite foods are dandelions, Fresh grass, and carrots. We chose the name Frodo from J.R.R. Tolkien's trilogy The Lord of the Rings. 

 

Rocky Road

This is my fish Rocky Road. He is a Betta fish. He is 1 year old. He is a wonderful fish. He is a very vicious eater when you put his food in he darts up like a rocket and snatches it.

I got rocky from a pet store. I  got him a coconut tree decoration and a sunken ship decoration.

Little B and the chipmunk

 

Today our cat little B brought a chipmunk into our house. My dad and brother had gone to the library so it was just my mom and I at home. I was in my room reading and I heard my mom shout "Sam little B has brought something into the house!" So I ran down stairs thinking that it was a leaf or a corn husk or something like that. Because, in the past he has brought in various items including leaves and corn husks. But when I got downstairs I heard a squealing sound I thought that it was a bird but my mom said "It is chippy!" Well, chippy is a chipmunk that has been living  in our yard barn. Little B was in the living room and he had chippy cornered under a couch. I grabbed Little B and handed him to my mom. Then I lifted up the couch while my mom made a barricade out of cushions. Then chippy decided to make run for it he ran under a table and stayed under it. I said to my mom " We need to get a net!" While she was getting the net chippy scurried out of the living room and into the dining room. Luckily I caught sight of him and when my mom came back with the net I knew where he was so my mom grabbed a cushion and we set out after chippy. When we got in there chippy was under a chair. After a few tries with the net I realized that chipmunks are pretty fast. Then my mom suggested that we open the front door and chase him out. After I opened the door I chased chippy outside and when he was outside he flew like a rocket into our flower garden! Thanks for reading!

P.S.
The reason little B brought the chippy inside the house in the first place is because my brother left the patio door open!

Fuzz Buzz and Rex aka Mama and Papa

This is Rex and Fuzz Buzz

We got Rex at a gun show in Oshkosh,WI. A man was selling bunnies at the gun show. But he was desperate, and gave us Rex. It is kind of a long story. But to make it short, the man was going to have more bunnies in a few days. So he kinda of begged my mom to take Rex. My brother Sam and I are real happy she let us get him. 

 Rex is a Velvet Rex rabbit that is where we got the name Rex.

Sam bought Fuzz Buzz from a Hobby Farm in Prentice,WI. Fuzz Buzz is a Lionhead rabbit. 

Last year we had our first baby bunnies. It was so much fun.

But it was kind of hard to give them away. The good thing, we know they all went to good homes.

We have put Mama and Papa together again!

Max

 

This is Max, he is 3 1/2 years old. His life has changed since Little B came to live with us. He thinks that he is the king and owns the house. He weighs 11 pounds he is really fat. When he lays on our bed he sheds REALLY BAD!!
